Subdomain is an additional domain, the primary domain of any website. Subdomains are made to create separate sections from the main website. Subdomains are always created with the help of a root domain.

    tools.phpcluster.com

    Demos.phpcluster.com

Both of them are subdomains of phpcluster.com domain.

Tools.phpcluster.com This is a subdomain that is inferior to my main domain Fapploster. With this I have created to list free web tools.

demos.phpcluster.com is also a subdomain that is connected to my domain cluster. With this I have created a script to give demos.

    Why you should use Subdomain

It allows you to create a new section from your primary website.
If a company already has a website or a business website exists, then with the help of this, you can set up a blog.

By creating a subdomain, you can run an e-commerce store to complement your primary website.

Search engines identify subdomains as personal websites. This means that you may get more opportunities to increase your traffic.
There are many other reasons why you should use subdomain.

When should a subdomain be used instead of a subdirectory?
If you want to set up an ecommerce store for your primary website or set up a blog?

You can also do both with subdirectory, but subdomain is much better for SEO.

If you add any other functionality to your primary website, then it makes the application complex, which increases the loading time, which is not good at all for any website.

    How the subdomain works

Subdomain works as an extension of the domain of your website. You can create many subdomains for your website domain name.

It is worth noting that you can set as many sub-domains as you want for one domain, but you should only use them when it makes sense to do so!

When you make a subdomain, you have to select a path for it. Once the subdomain is created, the website becomes live on the subdomain as soon as the file of the website is uploaded to the subdomain folder.

Subdomains are a great way to separate the areas of your website according to their performance.

You can use the store.yourwebsite.com address to set up ecommerce running parallel to the rest of your site.
